American realist painter David Buckley Good will present some of his oil paintings of landscapes. David has established a national-level reputation as a realist painter and as an experienced art instructor at the prestigious Schuler School of Fine Arts in Baltimore, Maryland. He has also painted abroad, most notably and recently in France.
An exhibition of his artwork will open with a reception at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 20th. The following day, Saturday, November 21st, David will give a painting demonstration in the gallery beginning at 1:00 PM.

David Buckley Good is a realist painter whose subjects range from European and American architectural landscapes to still life and the figure. Born in Ohio, he is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and the Schuler School of Fine Arts. In 2001, he was invited by ‘Les Amis de la Grande Vigne’ to paint in the medieval city of Dinan, France as the city’s artist in residence. David has twice been the subject of feature articles in ‘American Artist Magazine.’ His work has been exhibited in the Salon International (Greenhouse Gallery, San Antonio, Texas) as well as Oil Painters of America national and regional exhibitions. He received the Liquitex Award at the 1999 Oil Painters of America National Exhibition (Scottsdale, Arizona). He currently teaches painting and drawing at the Schuler School of Fine Arts and the Mitchell School of Fine Arts in Baltimore, Maryland.
