Janelle Fowler Feeney
Janelle Fowler Feeney was born in Washington, D.C. While she enjoyed sketching during her childhood, Janelle did not take up painting until 1983 while living in Paris, France. She was first drawn to the innocent and joyful “naïf” style of Henri Rousseau and Anna Mary Robertson Moses (aka Grandma Moses). Over the years, Janelle has expanded her styles to include realism and trompe l’oeil. She has exhibited in Paris, France; Dakar, Senegal; Northern Virginia; and now in Georgetown County, SC. Janelle paints in oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolors.
