Lately, it seems that Spring has been the most unpredictable season in Williamsburg. This is because it either took a long time for Spring to arrive after a mild but prolonged winter or else because it transformed very quickly into Summer!
On long walks into lovely downtown Colonial Williamsburg, I noticed this year that we had an explosion of poppies growing in the gardens behind a number of the buildings and homes fronting on Duke of Gloucester Street. At the same, time, I have also seen a larger than usual increase in the rabbit population in many residential neighborhoods including our own... and I love rabbits, especially the little ones!
